Join milliner Richard Nylon for a talk on a history of elaborate fabrics and techniques in the Loel Thomson Costume Collection. Loel Thomson collected over 10,000 unique pieces of every day Australian fashion over 40 years from Federation to the present day.

Each item explores fashion and social history through evolving styles and manufacturing techniques spanning more than 200 years. Learn about the use of these intricate materials and other historic techniques from one of Melbourne's foremost milliners. Nylon is recognised for his audacious personal style often captured in the social pages and his in-depth knowledge of fashion history.
