APPLICATIONS OPEN
The National Designer Award x David Jones is Australia's premier award for emerging designers - for talent with the potential to shape the future of Australian fashion, not just take part in it.
Open to designers in their first eight years of business, the Award looks at design excellence, creative vision, and how sustainably and responsibly a brand runs, recognising designers at a genuinely pivotal stage in their careers. Finalists show their collections as part of the Festival's Premium Runway Series with the winner of the 2027 National Designer Award x David Jones announced on the night.
The winner receives a $30,000 cash bursary, a tailored program of mentorship and business development through David Jones valued at $150,000, and a legal advisory package valued at $5,000 courtesy of Festival partner K&L Gates.
The People's Choice Award returns in 2027, putting the public behind their favourite finalist.
